Dear Chef,

You are invited to participate in the Florida Restaurant Association’s International Food Service Expo and the American Culinary Federation's 2008 Culinary Arts Competitions, sponsored by the American Culinary Federation (ACF)/Central Florida Chapter (CFC), in conjunction with the Florida Restaurant Association. This event will take place September 5, 6, and 7, 2008, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Please mark your calendar for the entry deadline pursuant to all of the competitions listed below.

August 01, 2008 - Deadline:
  • The US FoodServices’ Culinary Team Super Challenge: Sponsored by Clear Springs Food, Creekstone Farms, The Florida Beef Council, US FoodService, Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, and Ciao Imports.
  • Land O’Lakes Signature Recipe Hot Food Competition.
  • Taste of Elegance Signature Recipe Pork Hot Food Competition Sponsored by The National Pork Board
  • The Florida Department of Agriculture Signature Recipe Alligator Hot Food Competition

August 19, 2006 - Deadline:
  • R.L. Schreiber’s American Culinary Federation, Apprentice Junior Member Florida State Championship Team Skills Competition.
  • Florida Pastry Challenge sponsored by Demarle, Puratos, and The Culinary Source.

Registration must be postmarked no later than the above dates. There will be no exceptions. Enclosed, you will find the following:
  1. Participation formats, registration forms, and awards
  2. Salon guidelines
  3. Official rules
  4. Signature recipe forms

Please read enclosed information carefully, and follow instructions. If you have any questions, please contact Steve Jayson at 407-363-8496. Send completed forms as quickly as possible to be eligible to compete in the Florida Restaurant Associations, International Food Service Expo, American Culinary Federation Culinary Events.
